About Lucie

I am a self-taught and self-representing artist living in the province of Quebec in Canada with my wonderful husband.  As long as I can remember, I have a pencil in my hand and a paper in front of me!  When I was young I was drawing all the time.  I won a drawing contest on a TV show when I was 7 years old.   I knew that I could work as an artist, designer or decorator but I ended up studying to become a hairdresser.  That's what I did for a few years.  Then I worked as secretary, buyer and others. Meanwhile I was painting for myself and did some artwork for others, I also did paintings and faux-finishes on furniture. 

In 2007 I made a discovery;  ACEO (Art Cards Editions and Originals), miniature art. I realized that I could sell my paintings and drawings on EBay (and later on other sites), I was so enthousiast!! I started doing ACEOs. Finally I came back to my first "love": painting and drawing! Since then I have sold more than a thousand paintings and prints and my original artwork and prints are collected from collectors all over the world.
